FEDERAL CONTRACT COMPLIANCE (OFCCP)
If you are a federal contractor or subcontractor, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) mandates compliance with affirmative action and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations. These regulations require job distribution outreach to diversity groups, including veterans, individuals with disabilities, minorities and women, as well as other protected segments of the jobs market.

Potential penalties for non-compliance may include termination of a contractor's federal contracts and ineligibility for future federal contracts. Fines paid by employers for non-compliance with OFCCP rules have been as high as $138,000. Non-compliance with OFCCP rules also may leave an employer more vulnerable to lawsuits by employees and job applicants.
